On October 26, 2023, the webinar “How to Enhance the Quality of Online TOEIC Test Tutoring?” was successfully organized by ClassIn in collaboration with KN Education. The event attracted more than 150 registers, with nearly 200 online viewers , who actively discussed and interacted with experts.
The webinar featured Mr. An Vu, Director at Glint Study Abroad and Technical Solutions Manager at ClassIn, who has 6 years of experience in the education industry as well as implementing ClassIn’s solution for educational institutions. Mr. Vuong Do, the founder and CEO of Kim Nhung TOEIC (a brand under KN Education), who is passionate about integrating technology into language education projects, also participated. Additionally, Ms. Hue Nguyen, Head of Sales at ClassIn Vietnam, served as the host of the program.
The webinar provided new insights into the challenges of ensuring the quality of TOEIC test preparation centers and offered solutions to improve quality and attract students in educational institutions.
Challenges in Ensuring Training Quality
TOEIC has become one of the most widely recognized standardized English language certifications in Vietnam, used as an exit standard at over 130 universities, colleges, vocational schools, and as a hiring and assessment standard for over 500 large corporations and businesses nationwide. With this growing demand, many English language centers have organized TOEIC teaching and preparation programs.

However, as Mr. Vuong Do shared, the TOEIC test preparation market has become somewhat saturated due to the continuous opening of new centers. Non-specialized language centers have even started offering TOEIC courses. Long-established centers have also introduced various new courses for their existing student base. Additionally, many individual teachers have started teaching TOEIC, especially during the boom of online education post-COVID. Thus, the key for TOEIC test preparation centers to attract and retain students remains providing high-quality education.
“Output quality is crucial, regardless of market development or saturation,” Mr. Vuong emphasized. He received a lot of feedback from students who studied at multiple centers but did not achieve the desired results.
In this competitive market, Mr. Vuong Do identified three challenges that TOEIC test preparation centers have increasingly confronted in recent times:
- Inability to assess the quality of training effectively.
- Difficulty in rapidly expanding the scale.
- Lack of tracking data for the center’s performance.
Regarding quality management in education, Mr. An Vu also shared his personal observations about educational activities and the development of online teaching. In this context, teachers play a crucial role in sustaining and advancing educational institutions as knowledge pillars for students. Teachers face various difficulties and unique challenges, especially during the initial outbreak of the Covid-19 pandemic.

With the continuous development of teaching methods and new technologies, teachers often need to engage in continuous training to update their knowledge. This not only demands a significant amount of time but also adds pressure, making the selection and implementation of effective strategies in the classroom more complex.
The integration of technology in education has generated numerous tools and platforms for teaching and management. However, the complexity of technology can sometimes make outcomes under expectations. Teachers may encounter challenges in meeting the requirements of multiple platforms, resulting in poor learning experiences for students.
In summary, the modern education landscape presents numerous challenges for teachers, including those related to training quality. Addressing these challenges is essential to ensure that teachers can provide the best possible learning experiences for students.
Enhancing Training Quality and Attracting Students: What are the Solutions?
In response to the challenges shared in the first section, Mr. Vuong Do shared 4 specific strategies that Kim Nhung TOEIC has implemented:
- Creating an entry test (with 45 TOEIC Test questions closely resembling the real test) on ClassIn platform to attract students. This helps optimize costs, time, efforts & automate processes.
- Utilizing the Learning Management System (LMS) to help students review past lessons more effectively, support efficient enrollment processes, and expand e-learning courses.
- Setting up a modern learning environment with technology platforms like ClassIn to enhance interaction between teachers and students, creating engaging and effective learning hours.
- Fostering an inspiring learning community to motivate and inspire many students.
“After using ClassIn for teaching and management, Kim Nhung TOEIC has seen significant improvements in monitoring and assessing the quality of training,” Mr. Vuong stated. In the classroom, he can check attendance for both teachers and students, manage the teaching process through post-class learning reports, ultimately enhancing training quality and attracting more enrollments.
Furthermore, ClassIn helps teachers save time on taking attendance and recording lessons since it supports automatic recording and stores content in the cloud, allowing for easy access at any time.
Implementing the Blended Learning Model in TOEIC Training
Blended Learning is currently one of the most intriguing learning models, especially in the field of teaching foreign languages. This model combines the strengths of traditional teaching methods with the advantages of information technology. With this approach, both teachers and students have a more comprehensive way to access course materials.
Kim Nhung TOEIC is at the forefront of applying the “Blended Learning” teaching method to its classroom lessons, offering an integrated learning experience that combines traditional classroom teaching with online learning to enhance the effectiveness of learning.

Not only have they been developing lessons on the website and expanding the scale of direct online learning with teachers, but Kim Nhung TOEIC also provides additional video courses created and compiled by experienced instructors with extensive knowledge. With this Blended Learning model, almost all students are highly satisfied and have improved their learning efficiency.
During the webinar, Mr. An Vu demonstrated the optimal and effective implementation of the Blended Learning model in the ClassIn classroom. Particularly, he focused on creating and automatically grading tests using ClassIn LMS, as well as utilizing quiz features to generate practice tests that closely resemble the real testing interface. This also includes configuring TOEIC test grading.
The “How to Enhance the Quality of Online TOEIC Test Tutoring?” webinar is part of a series organized by ClassIn, with the aim of providing an open space for top experts and individuals in the education field to share their perspectives, insights, and real-world stories about applying technology solutions to enhance the learning experience and the effectiveness of educational activities.
